DANNY BONADUCE
By Pamela Ayari

In a time when being one thing is being nothing, Danny Bonaduce has found success at playing multiple roles all at once. With acting credits that date back more than forty years to the age of four, Bonaduce has done it all. It certainly is not The Partridge Family fame that is currently keeping him in the spotlight after all these years.

Bonaduce has taken his long ago start as child-actor and run with it. He has had numerous guest appearances on popular T.V. shows spanning decades (including CHIPS, Married with Children, Diagnosis Murder, That 70's Show, CSI, and many more), been a game-show and talk-show host, has movie credits, has been a radio deejay of various shows throughout the country, written an autobiography, and produced. What Bonaduce Proves nowadays is that it was not just your run-of-the-mill kiddy stardom that so many American were watching in the 60's. It was the beginning of a career in entertainment. A career which still shows today that the smart-alecks will always find a way to keep you entertained.

Surely Bonaduce's life under the public spotlights of the last twenty-five years has potentially type-casted him as a personality first and actor second, but perhaps one must consider private lives in the public spotlight in perspective. Hundreds of actors, singers, multi-millionaires, and everyday people have had drug or alcohol problems. Few are still doing something with their time and moving on from that battle. Bonaduce is proof that given the right sense of humor and the sheer inability to do anything else with life but entertain, one can bounce back from anything. In his book, Random Acts of Badness, Bonaduce calls himself a "low-level celebrity who went to jail a lot." Yeah, well, thanks to VH1, E!, ET, and Access Hollywood, it's all part of the job criteria.
